This antique Rolex Pilot’s Cockpit watch from the early 1940s was issued to the British pilots in World War II.
Dial:
The watch features an enamel/ceramic dial in perfect condition, with the original luminous material on the numerals and hands preserved.
The dial is marked “Rolex” with a coronet.
The mineral crystal measures 45 mm in diameter.
Case:
The brass case measures 51 mm in diameter excluding the lugs and crowns. The inside of the caseback is stamped “Rolex 31 Records Universels Geneve Suisse.” The outside of the caseback features a military engraving with an arrow – marks of British Royal Forces.
The strap is 24 mm, new, black leather.
Movement:
The movement has been professionally serviced, has a 24-hour power reserve, keep good time, warranty.
High grade 15 jewels movement, Swiss made, Breguet balance spring.windind gear marked “Rolex 15 jewels”.
The watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and with a valid warranty on the movement.
